Refund delays on Google Pay & Apple Pay

The technical issue was fixed, and the stuck refunds were successfully processed.

We are currently experiencing delays in processing refunds for payments made with Google Pay and Apple Pay. In these cases, the refund amount is correctly deducted from the merchant’s Barion Wallet, but the background operation that credits the amount back to the customer’s bank card is delayed.

Impact

• Affected customers will receive their refunds later than expected.
• Only Google Pay and Apple Pay transactions are impacted.
• All other payment methods are working as normal.
